﻿<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><sura id="80">
  <aya id="1" text="(The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away," />
  <aya id="2" text="Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullâh bin Umm-Maktûm, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs)." />
  <aya id="3" text="But what could tell you that per chance he might become pure (from sins)?" />
  <aya id="4" text="Or that he might receive admonition, and that the admonition might profit him?" />
  <aya id="5" text="As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient," />
  <aya id="6" text="To him you attend;" />
  <aya id="7" text="What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allâh)." />
  <aya id="8" text="But as to him who came to you running." />
  <aya id="9" text="And is afraid (of Allâh and His Punishment)," />
  <aya id="10" text="Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another," />
  <aya id="11" text="Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Qur'ân) are an admonition," />
  <aya id="12" text="So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it." />
  <aya id="13" text="(It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (&lt;I&gt;Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz&lt;/I&gt;)." />
  <aya id="14" text="Exalted (in dignity), purified," />
  <aya id="15" text="In the hands of scribes (angels)." />
  <aya id="16" text="Honourable and obedient." />
  <aya id="17" text="Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is!" />
  <aya id="18" text="From what thing did He create him?" />
  <aya id="19" text="From &lt;I&gt;Nutfah &lt;/I&gt;(male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion;" />
  <aya id="20" text="Then He makes the Path easy for him;" />
  <aya id="21" text="Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave;" />
  <aya id="22" text="Then, when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again)." />
  <aya id="23" text="Nay, but (man) has not done what He commanded him." />
  <aya id="24" text="Then let man look at his food," />
  <aya id="25" text="That We pour forth water in abundance," />
  <aya id="26" text="And We split the earth in clefts," />
  <aya id="27" text="And We cause therein the grain to grow," />
  <aya id="28" text="And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle)," />
  <aya id="29" text="And olives and date-palms," />
  <aya id="30" text="And gardens, dense with many trees," />
  <aya id="31" text="And fruits and &lt;I&gt;Abba &lt;/I&gt;(herbage, etc.)," />
  <aya id="32" text="(To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle." />
  <aya id="33" text="Then, when there comes &lt;I&gt;As-Sâkhkhah &lt;/I&gt;(the Day of Resurrection's second blowing of Trumpet)," />
  <aya id="34" text="That Day shall a man flee from his brother," />
  <aya id="35" text="And from his mother and his father," />
  <aya id="36" text="And from his wife and his children." />
  <aya id="37" text="Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others." />
  <aya id="38" text="Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islâmic Monotheism)." />
  <aya id="39" text="Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise)." />
  <aya id="40" text="And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained;" />
  <aya id="41" text="Darkness will cover them," />
  <aya id="42" text="Such will be the &lt;I&gt;Kafarah&lt;/I&gt; (disbelievers in Allâh, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the &lt;I&gt;Fajarah&lt;/I&gt; (wicked evil doers)." />
